Yee-Ha!

Recently, we took Kyle out to the Hilltop Stables here at Ft. Gordon. It is one of the last military installations that has a operational riding stable, well one that you can pay for time to ride. Most posts anymore have stables where you can board your own horses, but don't have horses to "rent."

Kyle has been running or should we say riding around the house on his sleeping bag, with his swim vest and helmet on. We decided it was time to get out and enjoy the real deal, so we went to the stable and took him on a 30 minute pony ride. As we got ready to go Kyle made sure that he had his vest and helmet so that he could "get in the dirt." After I realized what he was talking about, I had to inform him that we were going to ride the pony, not get bucked off. We weren't going to ride a Rodeo pony, just a walking pony.
