You see for some this is really just a big, over sized tub, with jet blowers. But for others, it is a swimming pool at the house. For months the boys have wanted to get in this tub and for months, I have told them NO. I hate jet tubs! They are gross. They grow mold. Yuck! This stinky tub took me a week to clean and there is still yuck that comes out of it. I ran the little dishwasher cubes through it 4 times, used the actual jet tub cleaner 2 times, and heck resorted to the bleach. Over all this tub has been ran at least 12 times before my precious water babies could get in. However, the end result has been a lot of fun for the boys.
In the long run, I don't own this tub because we rent. And, when Steve and I settle down we probably won't have a tub like this, because I HATE CLEANING THEM!
Looks like they had lots of fun in the "swimming pool!" My mom has a big tub like that and the kids always want to get it in when we go visit, too.
ReplyDeleteI am SO with you, Amanda! There's one in our master bathroom here in our rental as well. It was a fun novelty at first but now it's just disgusting. We use it for deep baths and never turn on the jets anymore.
