This past weekend was a blast! We had the whole family together again since my brother, Keith's, return from Iraq. Steve and I are so blessed to have had everyone travel out this way again. Living so far away from family is definitely a challenge when it comes to trying to visit. Especially, when you have to haul two kiddos and two dogs. Ha!
.
Keith has decided to look into getting a bigger bike. While test driving Steve's, Kyle decided that he needed to go for a ride with Uncle Keith.
This trip was special because of many firsts. One of which, being Keith's first time to meet Owen. Unfortunately, during Keith's R&R we weren't able to make it out to Colorado. However, Owen had no issues snuggling in Uncle Keith's arms and taking in a little football with Aunt Lauren.
Grandpa and Kyle settled down to read the new book that was brought especially for him. By the end of the trip Kyle was reading it to Grandpa, well at least helping.

We stopped by Krispy Kreme to enjoy a special treat. We thought 2 dozen doughnuts would last longer than a day and a half, but boy were we wrong. They were irresistible. And no...Laura wasn't the only one, I just caught her in the act. I love you sis!

Kyle showed off his golf swing with Grandpa and Uncle Keith. All three boys practiced with Kyle's clubs.

Grandma and Kyle raced around wildly until Kyle would fall over and play dead. Then Grandma would "pump-up" his stomach bringing him back to life so he could run around crazily. When all else failed and that didn't work....

Take him to Grandpa to blow on his tummy....that will surely revive him.

All in all the weekend, was just what we all needed. We got to spend time together as a family again, take family pictures (which of course we will share when we get them), and even celebrate a few up coming birthdays. It definitely is stinky that the time flies by so quickly. We miss having everyone here and wish our visit was longer. However, Christmas and New Years are just around the corner and we are looking forward to it already!

Oh I loved seeing the photos of your family! What a wonderful weekend, I'll be praying the time goes fast until the holidays are here so that we are with our families again!
